Sonnet XII - Ever After
that day was unlike any other day
for your wit and charm held me captivated
on a cloudy noon conversing in a café
that slipped to a meal for two seamlessly fated
that night was unlike any other night
for the levee I built crumbled as you went
on imbuing a plethora of bliss and excite
streaming through awareness save consent
idle walk stealing glances with no regret
as we speak matters of never ending.
Today was the day that seemed like we met
of us articulating on anything and of everything
that comes to mind which enlightens or that brightens.
A day in affinity as we muse through life's motions.
